About the Role

We are looking for a dependable and technically capable Camera Operator to support live events, livestreams, hybrid productions, conferences, exhibitions, and corporate shows.

This role involves operating professional video cameras for live coverage, speaker capture, audience reaction shots, IMAG, and webcast productions. You will work closely with livestream technicians, video switcher operators, and production crew to deliver clean, stable, and professional visuals in fast-paced live environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate professional video cameras for live events, livestreams, hybrid events, and recorded productions
  • Capture speakers, panel discussions, audience reactions, stage action, and wide coverage as required by show flow
  • Follow shot direction from the producer, director, switcher operator, or project lead
  • Support IMAG, livestream, and presentation-based productions with accurate and steady camera work
  • Frame shots properly for live switching, recording, and broadcast use
  • Set up cameras, tripods, cabling, power, and related accessories before each production
  • Perform camera checks including focus, exposure, white balance, framing, and signal output
  • Work with the technical team to ensure smooth integration with switchers, encoders, recording systems, and venue screens
  • Assist with setup, teardown, packing, and equipment handling when required
  • Maintain equipment carefully and report any faults, missing items, or technical issues promptly

Requirements

  • Prior experience operating cameras for live events, livestreams, webcasts, corporate events, or productions
  • Good understanding of framing, composition, movement, and shot discipline in live environments
  • Able to operate calmly under pressure and respond quickly during live shows
  • Comfortable following show cues, run sheets, and direction from production leads
  • Responsible, punctual, and dependable
  • Able to work weekends, public holidays, early mornings, or late nights when required
  • Physically fit enough for on-site event work and equipment handling

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with tripod-based live camera operation for conferences, stage events, and corporate productions
  • Familiarity with livestream and hybrid event workflows
  • Understanding of SDI / HDMI signal flow and basic video troubleshooting
  • Experience supporting IMAG and multi-camera productions
  • Ability to work closely with livestream technicians and video switcher operators
  • Basic knowledge of exposure, white balance, focus control, and live event lighting conditions
