Role Summary

We are looking for a reliable and organized Warehouse & Inventory Coordinator to manage the daily movement, tracking, preparation, and return of audiovisual equipment in our warehouse. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment is packed correctly, stored properly, checked in and out accurately, and maintained in good working condition.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, disciplined, and comfortable working in a fast-paced AV rental and events environment.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

• Prepare equipment for upcoming jobs based on job sheets and packing lists
• Pick, pack, stage, and organize equipment for delivery and collection
• Receive returned equipment and ensure items are checked back in accurately
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and operationally efficient
• Ensure equipment is stored in the correct locations and easy to retrieve

Inventory Control

• Track inventory movement in and out of the warehouse
• Ensure all equipment, accessories, cables, adapters, and cases are accounted for
• Flag missing, damaged, faulty, or incomplete items promptly
• Conduct routine stock checks and cycle counts
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update internal systems

Equipment Testing & Maintenance Support

• Check equipment condition before and after each job
• Perform basic functional checks on equipment before deployment
• Separate faulty items for repair, replacement, or follow-up
• Assist in labeling, tagging, and asset identification
• Support preventive maintenance and equipment care procedures

Coordination & Support

• Work closely with operations, drivers, and site crew to ensure jobs are packed correctly and on time
• Communicate stock shortages, prep issues, or return discrepancies clearly
• Support loading and unloading when required
• Help improve warehouse systems, prep processes, and inventory accuracy

Safety & Discipline

• Follow safe handling and lifting procedures
• Handle equipment carefully to reduce damage and loss
• Maintain accuracy, neatness, and discipline in warehouse operations
• Ensure prep and return processes are followed consistently

Requirements

• Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory, events, AV, or equipment handling preferred
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Physically fit and comfortable handling equipment
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Responsible, punctual, and dependable
• Comfortable using inventory systems, spreadsheets, or digital trackers
• Willing to support occasional on-site or loading operations when required

Preferred Skills

• Experience handling AV equipment, flight cases, cables, TVs, projectors, audio gear, or lighting equipment
• Familiarity with stock tracking, barcode/RFID systems, or rental inventory software
• Ability to identify missing accessories and incomplete returns
• Basic technical understanding of AV equipment is an advantage
• Forklift or driving experience is a plus
