Build events. Move fast. Learn real AV.
At Motion Media Works, this is not a desk job.
You’ll help prepare, move, set up, operate, and tear down audiovisual equipment for corporate events, exhibitions, webcasts, livestreams, and rentals across Singapore. That means screens, projectors, speakers, microphones, signal flow, cabling, livestream gear, and sometimes LED wall systems too.
This role suits someone who likes being in motion, working with their hands, solving practical problems, and being part of a team that gets things done under real deadlines.
If you want an easy, slow, office-style job, this is not it.
If you want to learn fast, work on real productions, and become genuinely useful in live events and AV operations, keep reading.
What you’ll actually do
You’ll work across both warehouse prep and on-site execution.
In the warehouse
- Prepare gear for upcoming jobs using packing lists and job sheets
- Test, clean, label, pack, and stage equipment
- Check that accessories, adapters, stands, power, and cables are complete
- Flag damaged, faulty, or missing items
- Help keep stock organized and deployment-ready
On deliveries and site work
- Load and unload equipment safely
- Support delivery, collection, and logistics movement
- Handle TVs, speakers, projectors, trussing, LED panels, and cases properly
- Pack vehicles in a way that protects gear and speeds up deployment
On-site at events
- Assist with setup, testing, operation, and teardown
- Run cables neatly and safely
- Support audio, video, lighting, webcast, and display systems
- Troubleshoot basic issues during setup or showtime
- Follow instructions from team leads, engineers, and project managers
- Stay calm when plans change fast
Who this role is for
You do not need to be an expert to apply.
You do need to be the kind of person we can trust.
This role is for you if you are:
- Reliable and punctual
- Curious and enjoy learning new things
- Comfortable with physical work and lifting equipment
- Able to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and public holidays when needed
- Willing to work both at the warehouse and on event sites
- Calm under pressure
- Good at following instructions, systems, and checklists
- Hungry to learn and improve
You’ll do well here if…
- You show up on time without drama
- You don’t need to be chased to do basic things properly
- You take care of equipment
- You notice problems early
- You keep your phone away when work is happening
- You can think practically when something changes on site
- You want to get better, not just get through the day
This role is probably not for you if…
- You struggle to wake up early consistently
- You dislike physical work
- You want fixed 9 to 5 predictability every day
- You get flustered when plans change
- You need constant supervision
- You are careless with equipment
- You treat punctuality as optional
Experience
Prior AV, events, production, staging, rental, or technical support experience is a plus, but it is not mandatory. Your current listing says exactly that, and that is the right call.
If you have basic familiarity with audio, video, cabling, signal flow, microphones, speakers, projectors, switchers, CAT6, HDMI, SDI, or LED wall systems, great.
If not, but you’re reliable, alert, practical, and willing to learn, we’re still open to the right person.
A Singapore Class 3 driving licence is a bonus, not a requirement.
What you get
- Full-time role
- Exposure to real event and AV operations work
- Hands-on learning across warehouse, logistics, setup, and live execution
- A team that values reliability, discipline, and people who perform
- A structured environment where strong crew become more valuable over time
Growth & Progression
You don’t get promoted here by time.
You progress by becoming more useful.
Most people start with:
- basic equipment handling
- packing and preparation
- assisting on setups
From there, strong crew move into:
- running setups independently
- handling audio or video systems
- troubleshooting on-site
- leading small teams
- managing full event setups
The more reliable and capable you are, the more responsibility you get.
Important notes
This role involves regular lifting and physical activity. It also requires flexibility around reporting times, site timings, weekends, and public holidays. Your current posting explicitly notes both.

That is what this job is.
